EVERLIGHT CLEAN ENERGY SCHOLARSHIP
Everlight Solar is a Midwest-based solar panel company, starting their partnership with the Wisconsin Badgers in 2019.
They wanted to find a way to give back to the UW community, as well as create a memorable in-game experience for Badger Fans.
ENTRY
Students were asked on Facebook and Twitter to share how they are keeping the environment clean for a chance to win a $5000 scholarship, courtesy of Everlight Solar.
WINNER SELECTION
After a few weeks, I worked with Everlight's marketing team to pick the submissions that we thought were the most impactful, with the top 2 being selected to compete in a shooting contest.
2020 SHOOTING CONTEST
In 2019, the two finalists competed during a Wisconsin Basketball game to win the scholarship.
I worked with the events and facilities crew to have all of the lights turned off and a series of spotlights put onto the court where each contestant had to make baskets from.
2021 SHOOTING CONTEST
Given the fact that fans couldn't attend games as of early 2021, we had to do the shooting contest at Everlight's Warehouse.
I coordinated and assisted in production of the below video, highlighting the two finalists and the difference they are making in the world.
